Practical Keys to Success Series

The Front Line

The front line of your product or service conveys to others what matters most.  The front line represents compelling ideas as they are translated to your target audience, either by verbal, visual or conceptual methods.  The front line may include a simple link or a website, office space, literature, people that represent products or services with advertising, marketing and promotional material, on the Internet and certainly beyond.

Consider image and imaging:  Take a look at the last promotional product you received from anywhere or anyone.  If you can, hold it in your hands and look it over.  Just examine it.  Do you notice the colors, the fonts and the message that is displayed?  Think back now… Can you remember the event and the person that handed it to you?  That’s the image that you hold in association with the product or service.  It’s ok if you can’t remember, that only means they haven’t been in your face enough times. We mainly remember the things that are in our faces all the time.

On that premise, it is crystal clear that advertising really works, but what has not been proven is the number of times a target audience has to see or experience your ads or marketing efforts and take action towards making a purchase.

Even advertising simple links is a number’s game.  Target audiences on the Internet will eventually click after noticing links and messages a great number of times.  Take your favorite fast-food restaurant as an example.  You first had to hear about it, see it or notice it a number of times before you went in to make a purchase.  Advertising and marketing your product or services work exactly the same way.  People need to hear more about your product.  They need to see more of it out there with more people talking about it in order to arrive at a decision to buy your product.  Ok-so you may not be able to do it all by yourself, so that’s where your front line comes in to play, to express the message for you and start building a stronger front line today to help grow your business.    --    For more information about Practical Keys to Success Series™ Private Book-Reading Party, Click here to Make-a-Connection.
